TechPro recently delivered a full production awards ceremony in the heart of London for a leading Financial Publication.  The result; a highly polished audio visual production,  perfectly complimenting the tone of the message being delivered but which later exploded into a dramatic light and sound experience for a very up-beat awards presentation.

The client brief was to deliver a dramatic and visually spectacular event whilst keeping their brand in full view.  TechPro designed and built a stage set backdrop flanked by giant lettering which was dramatically lit to show the client brand.  TechPro projected a huge widescreen image, incorporating the speakers notes, a close up of the presenter and picture in picture video clips.   TechPro provided all of the technical aspects, which included design and build of the stage & set, and supply of all of the lighting, video and sound equipment.

Technical Aspect

The stunning visual aspect was the “floating screen”  produced and displayed in true HD. Panasonic projectors were used to project the widescreen blend which gave amazing clarity of image and vibrant deep colours. The presentation source material was taken from two Macbook Pro’s each running at true HD, the widescreen was processed using a Barco Encore Control system. Quality was not compromised anywhere and even the comfort monitoring for the presenters was in HD format! Two HD Sony camera channels were displayed as PIP’s over laying the main show graphic.

The set included a large 6m x 2m screen and a series of light boxes were staggered to add depth and appear to support the giant lettering,  Thomas Pixel Line LED batons and Mac 250 Entour’s. Further adding to the elegant lighting, wireless DMX Core LED’s were used to up-light architectural elements of the hall which included the side pillars. ample generic lighting was situated at the fron and rear of the hall to add effect to the stage and room.

Nexo Speakers and digital amplification were used for the PA and the excellent Audio Technica 935 microphones were used at the lecterns to capture the presenter speeches.
